% S" }# p; R) f Last week I had the distinct pleasure of seeing the Tim and Eric  038; Dr. Steve Brule 2014 Tour, the traveling variety show of my comedy heroes, Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim  with a special extended cameo by Dr. Steve Brule, played by none other than John C. Reilly . It was long and uncomfortable and weird. And perfect.     They ;re  stanley termosar touring the country to promote their new show, Tim  038; Eric   Bedtime Stories, which debuts tonight on Adult Swim at 12:15 a.m. It features 11-minute shorts that I was surprised to discover are dark and creepy in a way that none of their other work is. They screened the episode starring Bob Odenkirk as a podiatrist with problems at last week   live show, and I was kind of s stanley mugs hocked at how good it was鈥攊t was as skillfully suspenseful as old Twilight Zone episodes.  I couldn ;t help but think as I watched from the audience last week鈥攄oes this graduation into somewhat coherent narratives mean that another Tim and Eric chapter has ended   A more alarming thought: Have I entered a post-Tim and Eric age    . I found myself wistful and nostalgic for the nonsensical days of vintage T 038;E, and its blissful world of faux infomercials and shoddy graphics and questionable roles for child actors.  Luckily for all of us going through such existential crises, every single episode of Tim and E stanley cup ric   Awesome Show, which aired from 2007 to 2010, can be watched, right this instant, on Adult Swim   website.
