, r' S7 x7 M! ?8 Y WAUKESHA, Wis. 鈥?Waukesha police said suspects are in custody and no one else is wanted following an armed carjacking on Wednesday.According to a news release from the police department, the armed robbery happened near Grand and Sunset shortly before 5:30 p.m. A victim had told police two suspects jumped out of their vehicle, armed, and demanded the victim s property and vehicle. The suspects were not able to steal the vehicle and inevitably left in the vehicle they arrived in. As police were arriving to the area, they saw the vehicle dri stanley cup ving recklessly and began a pursuit. The pursuit ended when the suspects crashed on S. Three suspects were taken into custody during the foot pursuit, but the fourth got away. The mayors office officially put the city in the running for the Democratic National Convention  DNC  this week, and also expressed interest to the Republicans for a potential Republican National Convention  RNC  in Milwaukee.In August, the Democratic National Committee asked the city to consider officially applying to host the 2024 convention by Oct. 1. This week Mayor Tom Barretts office officially put in a request to be considered.
