MILWAUKEE 鈥?The City of Milwaukee broke its homicide record for the third year in a row on Saturday, bringing the total number of homicides in the city to 194. On Saturday, a 43-year-old man was killed near Hopkins and Hampton, the death that broke the record. Police are seeking unknown suspects in that case. Michael Ray is a business owner in that area who says violent acts like these not only affect safety in the community, but prevent people from investing in the area. GRASS VALLEY, Calif. -- A California man has a lot to be thankful for after he reportedly fought off a black bear to save the life of his pit bull named Buddy, according to CBS News.The day before Thanksgiving, Buddy was outside playin stanley website g near his home in Nevada Count stanley portugal y, California. I just ran down there, plowed into the bear, tackled it and grabbed it by the throat and started hitting it in the face and the eye until it let go,  Benham said.Benham then describes the frantic search for a veterinary hospital that was open during the pandemic.
